Hello everyone!!! It was sooooo good to talk you you all on Christmas!!! I am so happy that everyone is doing well and that you had a wonderful Christmas!

Talking on the computer with our families!

Well this week, being Christmas, there was a ton of people here visiting the Pueblo so we were able to contact a ton of people!
So Christmas in Mexico is a bit different than at home. Everyone is at parties, drinking, dancing, loud music, fireworks, and not just Christmas Eve, all week long!
I have heard it's the same for New Year's also, but today everyone is kinda in their houses and we haven't heard a ton of music or anything. We will see what happens on Wednesday night!

Grasshoppers and chilies!
We were invited to go to eat dinner with some members of the branch on Christmas Eve and we  are going to go again on New Year's Eve also. I am so glad that they are taking care of us girls here! Last night we also went to their house because we wanted to receive a blessing. They ended up feeding us dinner after and we ate...... GRASSHOPPERS!!! Yes I will send pictures, even though the pictures don't do it justice.. but for real, they weren't that bad! just a little crunchy.....

We have been teaching a cute family with 2 small children. They aren't married but they want to learn more and don't go to any church. We are also really working with another couple so that they can be baptized really soon. He has been investigating the church for a long time and he said that yes he wants to be baptized he just won't accept a date for his baptism!!! We are praying that he accepts a date soon!!! and his wife has never been really interested but last Sunday she came to church with him and then came to the church activities that we had in the week. Hopefully she will find the truth that we have in the Book of Mormon; she is Catholic and doesn't want to accept the Book of Mormon. They are so cute though. They live like 4 houses from us and treat us like grandchildren.  Every time we go they give us milk or tea and cookies or bread.
We had an activity on Tuesday night for Christmas at the church and a lot of people came. I ended up singing like 4 times because they kept asking me to, and then we broke a piñata and they let me break it apart. What an adventure!!! I love being here in the branch of Zanatepec!!!!!!!
Well that's all for today!!! !I hope you all are praying together and have a wonderful week!!!!
 Love
